In 1991, DEC began as an executive search recruiting firm exclusive to physician support positions in southern California, adding temporary services in 1992. This venture was so successful that in 1996 the company merged the two divisions under AMDG, Inc., AMDG, Inc. as the parent corporation and DEC Health Care Personnel, the health care employment agency/Staffing services division.
