I. Truthful Advertising - Classified advertisements will not include positions which do not exist at the time the ad was placed.

II. Fair Interviewing Process - All prospective employees are encouraged to 1st, fax a copy of their resume to DEC for registration. 2nd, a telephone interview will be held and references may be checked. 3rd, once a position is located which match the needs of the applicant with the needs of the employer, a "face to face" interview is conducted and references are completed. Exceptions may be made to these steps when deemed necessary.

III. Fair Ineligibility Standards - Upon the offer of a position, DEC gives each candidate an opportunity to decline. We do NOT want positions accepted which will not be completed. If a candidate knows of any reason why they should not accept a position, then they should not accept the position. Conversely, when a candidate accepts a position, they ARE EXPECTED to complete the position.

IV. Fair Notice - If a temporary assignment is extended beyond the agreed duration, the employee may decline without penalty. Also, if a temporary assignment is to be shorter than the agreed term, than the employee will be notified as soon as possible after the agency is notified.
